Umas vezes
encontramos nos átomos o rasto das estrelas. Outras vezes
olhamos o céu e parece-nos ouvir o pulsar das partículas. Entre
folhas e
árvores, palavras e poemas, ritmos e sons vamos olhando e vendo mais e
mais.
Tem sido assim no nosso trabalho: umas vezes partimos de
grandes criações para chegar a experiências mais minimais; outras vezes
começámos por uma simples canção para chegar a um grande projecto.
Criações, espectáculos, workshops, workshows, publicações, instalações,
objectos performativos, conferências, master classes, formação,
invenção… É um universo sempre em expansão, a reverberar com as pessoas
que vamos tocando. |

Sometimes, in
the atoms we find the trace of the stars. Some other times we
look at the sky and it looks like we hear the pulse of the particles.
Between leaves and trees, words and poems, rhythms and sounds, we look
and we see more and more.
Likewise has been our work: sometimes we
start with a complex creation and follow the trail that leads to the
most minimal experience, sometimes we start by a simple song and we
reach a large project. Creations, performances, workshops, workshows,
publications, installations, conferences, master classes, training,
invention ... It has been an expanding universe reverberating
with the people we touch. |

Opus 1 na Moita: mais um passo no Peça a
Peça, o conjunto de peças portáteis para a
infância concebidas no âmbito do projecto Opus Tutti. E
mais outro passo, a fazer com que o Peça a Peça chegue
mais longe: iniciámos na Fundação Calouste
Gulbenkian a Arte da Lúdica, com a participação de
profissionais de educação de infância. Entretanto,
AliBaBach viaja até ao Fundão e daí para o
Festival Babelut, em Neerpelt. Aqui e em Antuérpia, teremos um
intensivo programa: AliBaBach, Musical Patchwork, conferências,
seminários e workshops, a demonstrar como criação
e promoção da qualidade de vida podem fazer parte da
mesma constelação artístico-educativa.

| Opus
1 at Moita: another step in Play by Play, the portable set pieces
designed for children under the Opus Tutti project. And another big
step in Play by Play: we initiated The Art of Playfulness in the
Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, with the participation of early
childhood professionals. In the meantime, AliBaBach travels to
Fundão and thence to the Festival Babelut in Neerpelt. Here and
in Antwerp, we have an intensive program: AliBaBach, Musical Patchwork,
conferences, seminars and workshops. Demonstrating how artistic
creation, education and promoting wellbeing in society belong to the
same constellation.

Passo a passo o Peça a
Peça vai percorrendo o País: Opus 1 foi aos
Paços da Cultura em S. João da Madeira; Opus 2 esteve no
Teatro Pax Julia em Beja e no Teatro Municipal de Bragança; Opus
4 encantou meninos, Pais e profissionais de
educação de infância do Centro Infantil do
Roseiral.
Estivemos também no Algarve, no Colóquio
Artes e Ciências em Diálogo onde apresentámos uma
comunicação e conhecemos “gente gira”!
Entretanto,
uma outra estrelinha começou já a brilhar ao lado de
Anatomia do Piano: viram-se raiozinhos de Pianoscópio no
Conservatório de Música de Aveiro. Temos nova
constelação! |

Step
by step, Play by Play travels the country: Opus 1 was presented at
Paços da Cultura de São João da Madeira; Opus 2 was presented at
Teatro
Municipal Pax Julia in Beja and at Teatro Municipal de Bragança;
Opus 4 charmed infants, their parents and educators at the nursery
Centro Infantil Roseiral.
We were also in the Algarve, in the
International Conference Arts and Sciences in Dialogue for a
presentation in company of "beautiful people"!
In
the meantime, alongside the creation “Anatomy of Piano”, another
starlet, "Pianoscope" has started to shine at the Aveiro’s Conservatory
of Music. Soon we will have a new artistic and educative constellation! |

Todos deviam ser Tutti! E
neste Tutti está a aprendizagem do dar e do desprendimento de nós sem
perder o pé da nossa razão de ser. Sinto que a minha missão é também
dar matéria para sonhar, transmitir ao universo sensível a importância
do património cultural de cada um de nós como força criativa.
Tutti
não é uma questão de estilo. É uma ferramenta! Temos de estar inteiros,
ter tempo para ensinar a escutar, para dar o exemplo da escuta, para
reaprender a escutar depois de todas as formatações a que estamos
sujeitos, dar espaço para ouvir individual e intimamente.
Somos meros transmissores, a alma do som e da sua regeneração residem nessa base de respeito e equilíbrio.

Everybody
should be Tutti! Within this Tutti lies the understanding of giving and
unleashing the self while keeping the raison d'être. I feel that my
mission is also to provide materials to dream, transmit to the
sensitive universe the significance of the cultural heritage of each
one as a creative power.
Tutti is not a matter
of style. It's a tool. We must be complete, have time to teach and
learn, to show the model of listening, to re-learn how to
listen after daily formatting exposure, to give room to the inner and
individual listening.
We are mere transmitters, the soul of sound and its regeneration live in those grounds of respect and balance.

adivinhas. Ao longo do tempo cruzamo-nos com a Língua Portuguesa
e continuamos a disponibilizar material para que ele cresça

collection of words that sound like music. Some of them
were songs, others raps, poems, stories or riddles. We crossed
the Portuguese language territories several times and we
intend to keep releasing these materials for further growth
and transformation. Here!

| Arte da
Lúdica vai ocupar parte do Ano Crescer do Projecto Opus Tutti.
Arte da Lúdica inclui workshops com artistas do projecto Opus
Tutti e um conjunto de sessões de trabalho envolvendo
profissionais de educação de infância em que se
exploram elementos musicais, dramáticos e visuais de algumas das
peças musico-teatrais do Peça a Peça. Peça
a Peça quer chegar às crianças, creches e
famílias sempre com um cuidado muito especial. Quer fazer nascer
dias especiais na rotina do quotidiano e deixar peças para o
resto dos dias. Assim, ao longo do ano trabalharemos com um grupo de
excelentes profissionais de educação de infância do
Centro Infantil Roseiral e da Associação de Profissionais
de Educação de Infância. Vamos descobrir
espaço interior para encontrar “momentos presentes”
a “Brincar com Peças” e tornar melhores as nossas
creches e jardins de infância. |

The
Art of Playfulness will be a central part of the Growing year of
Project Opus Tutti. It includes workshops with Opus Tutti artists and
with early childhood educators based on the exploration of musical and
dramatic
elements of Play by Play. The presentation of musical-theatrical pieces
in nurseries can be a strong way to stimulate playing and positive
interaction, involving infants, families and early childhood
educators. So, we
have to invest a lot of preparation and care in this initiative:
throughout the year we will work with a group of excellent early
childhood professionals from Centro Infantil Roseiral and from
Associação de Profissionais de Educação de
Infância. Inspired on Play by Play we will find ways to renew
daily life and to contribute to wellbeing in nuseries and
kindergardens.
