Opus 3 estreou a vibrar e fez florir de novo a Constelação PaPI. Nas “casas” dos mais pequeninos semeámos os sons, as formas, os movimentos de que se faz a Arte. As Pontes de PaPI crescem com a Casa das Artes de Vila Nova de Famalicão.

Opus 3 vibrated in its debut and made the PaPI Constellation flower again. In the "houses" of the little ones we sowed the sounds, the forms and the movements of which Art is made. The bridges of PaPI grow with Casa das Artes de Vila Nova de Famalicão.

Em Dezembro voltaremos ao magnífico Convento de S. Francisco, em Coimbra, desta vez com AliBaBach. Também perto de Coimbra, em Paradela da Cortiça, onde germinou, Opus 3 começará agora a sua Viagem. Em Lisboa, num evento organizado pelo programa Pegada Cultural, será tempo de falar sobre ZYG, uma das nossas experiências mais marcantes deste ano. Em Pombal, na biblioteca municipal, continuarão a ouvir-se as reverberações da passagem de Opus 7 num excerto da exposição Inventário dos Frutos. Depois, as reverberações de Opus 7 far-se-ão ouvir mais a Sul, em Odivelas.

In December we will return to the magnificent Convent of S. Francisco, in Coimbra, this time with AliBaBach. Also near Coimbra, in Paradela da Cortiça, where it germinated, Opus 3 will begin its Journey. In Lisbon, at an event organised by the Cultural Footprint program, it will be time to talk about ZYG, one of the most remarkable experiences we had of this year. In Pombal, in the municipal library, the reverberations of the passage of Opus 7 will continue to be heard in an excerpt from the exhibition Inventário dos Frutos. Then, Opus 7 reverberations will be heard in the South, in Odivelas.

Em Novembro falámos sobre TransFormação e formação imersiva nas III Jornadas de Psicologia Hospitalar do Hospital de Santa Maria, CHLN, em Lisboa, e sobre o Manual Para a Construção de Jardins Interiores na livraria Gigões&Anantes em Aveiro. Testámos as Formações Transitivas Colos de Música, BebéPlimPlim e Super-Sonics na Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra. Fizémos florir o jardim sonoro de Opus 7 em Pombal. Espantamo-nos com a imaginação das crianças que estiveram nos Opus 3 de Famalicão. E foi bom chegar a tantas crianças e educadoras de vários jardins de infância do concelho!

In November we talked about TransFormation and immersive training at III Jornadas de Psicologia Hospitalar do Hospital de Santa Maria, CHLN, in Lisbon, and Manual Para a Construção de Jardins Interiores at the bookstore Gigões&Anantes in Aveiro. We did pilot-tests to the Transitive Training Actions Colos de Música, BebéPlimPlim and Super-Sonics at Escola Superior de Educação in Coimbra. It was blossoming time for the sound garden of Opus 7 in Pombal.  We were amazed with the imagination of the children that attended the Opus 3 performances in Famalicão. It was great to offer music and joy in several nurseries and kindergardens of this council!

Talvez a parte mais gratificante do meu trabalho seja proporcionar o confronto critico e contacto com linguagens menos rotineiras dos meninos que mudarão o mundo. Precisamos deles emocionalmente habilitados para a sustentabilidade da nossa terra mãe e suportar as relações com os seus pares. Perhaps the most rewarding part of my work is to promote critical confrontation and contact with less routined languages within the children who will change the world. We need them emotionally empowered for the sustainability of our motherland and enduring relationships with their peers. Culture is freedom and this is the biggest challenge of the near future. O documentário Afinando Pessoas, Pássaros e Flores será apresentado na Quinta-Feira dia 1 de Dezembro às 18h45 no Cinema São Jorge no âmbito do Festival Internacional de Música no Cinema. Estreado e distinguido com dois prémios no Festival de Avanca 2016 o trabalho do realizador Luís Margalhau propõe uma leitura biográfica do trabalho de  Paulo Maria Rodrigues e da CMT.

The documentary Tuning People, Birds and Flowers will be shown on Thursday, 1st December, 18h45 at Cinema São Jorge within the Festival Internacional de Música no Cinema. Premiered and distinguished with two awards at Festival de Avanca 2016, this work by film-director Luís Margalhau offers a biographical reading of Paulo Maria Rodrigues and CMT´s work.
