Outubro é o mês da música. A estreia de NOAH na Casa das Artes em Famalicão (celebrando o Dia Mundial da Música), no Teatro Alba (no Festival de Música e Criatividade Infantil de Albergaria-a-Velha) e Teatro Aveirense (integrando a programação regular e encerrando a conferência internacional Musichildren acolhida pela Universidade de Aveiro) será o início de mais uma viagem com a CMT-Kids. Estaremos nas conferências «Artepel’emoção” no Teatro Aberto e na “Conferência Internacional de Educação” na Fundação C. Gulbenkian no dia 23 de Outubro e promoveremos o VII Encontro Internacional Arte para a Infância e Desenvolvimento Social e Humano no âmbito do projecto GermInArte, na Fundação C. Gulbenkian a 28 de Outubro.

October is the month of music. NOAH's debut at the Casa das Artes in Famalicão (celebrating World Music Day), Teatro Alba (at the Festival of Music and Children's Creativity of Albergaria-a-Velha ) and Teatro Aveirense (integrating the regular programme and also as the closing of the international conference Musichildren hosted by the University of Aveiro) will be the beginning of another trip with CMT-Kids. We will be at the conferences "Artepel'emoção" and "International Conference on Education" at Fundação C. Gulbenkian on 23rd October and we will promote the VII International Colloquium Arts for Childhood and Human and Social Development within the GermInArte project at Fundação C. Gulbenkian on 28th October.

Setembro foi mês de preparar os novos passos de GermInArte e NOAH. O ponto de partida de NOAH é a história que a nossa cultura nos contou, a mesma da Arca de Noé: um mundo em desmoronamento devido à ação do Homem. NOAH propõe uma viagem por vários territórios e sonoridades, revelando a Arca enquanto metáfora da convivência e da diversidade. Violoncelo, flautas, saxofone, eletrónica e vozes são alguns dos recursos sonoros e o discurso musical não hesita em mudar de rumo e tocar tanto em territórios prováveis como improváveis, em encontros com paisagens coreográficas e projeções de imagens interactivas. A peça baseia-se no trabalho criativo que foi feito com a CMT-Kids,  na sequência de Babelim. Espelha a “voz” de cada uma das crianças/adolescentes envolvidas no projeto, emanando diretamente dos seus talentos e interesses num processo de “diálogo” com o compositor Paulo Maria Rodrigues.

In September we prepared the new steps of GermInArte and NOAH. The starting point of NOAH is the story our culture told us, the story of Noah's Ark: a world in collapse due to the action of Man. NOAH proposes a journey through various territories and sounds, revealing the Ark as a metaphor for coexistence and diversity. Cello, flutes, saxophone, electronic and voices are some of the sound features used and the musical discourse does not hesitate to change course and play in both probable and improbable territories, encounters with choreographic landscapes and projections of interactive images. This play is based on the creative work that was done with CMT-Kids, following the experience of Babelim. It mirrors the "voice" of each of the children / adolescents involved in the project, emanating directly from their talents and interests in a process of "dialogue" with the composer Paulo Maria Rodrigues.
