We miss the rain.

No início de Dezembro, os rumores de Babelim ouvir-se-ão no Teatro Aveirense. Em Babelim usamos a comunicação que precedeu a linguagem. Feita de sons, imagens, movimentos, falado/cantado/dançado pelas pedras, plantas, animais e humanos. Perdeu-se com o tempo e com a pressa de nos tornarmos grandes. Mas os bebés, e as mães, ainda o falam. E as nossas crianças também, as mesmas de NOAH. Logo a seguir a constelação ZYG ressoará nas pedras antigas de Viseu. No Teatro Viriato, onde há muito tempo fizemos o primeiro Bebé Babá.

In the beginning of December, the rumours of Babelim will be heard at the Teatro Aveirense. In Babelim we use the means of communication that preceded language. Made of sounds, images, movements, spoken/sung/danced through the stones, plants, animals and humans. It was lost in time and in the rush to grow up. But the babies and their mothers, they still speak it.  And our children too, the same of NOAH. Soon after, the ZYG constellation will resonate on the ancient stones of Viseu. At the Teatro Viriato, where we did the first Bebé Babá, long ago.

Em Novembro calcorreámos os caminhos, ligando os jardins às estrelas. Levámos a constelação ZYG a Loulé: Instalação, Performance, Formação, Conferência, várias portas de entrada para descobrir um espaço habitado pela Música. Continuámos a ajudar a construir jardins interiores do Norte a Sul de Portugal: as Formações Transitivas do projecto GermInArte chegaram a Alcobaça, Bragança, Lagoa e Rio Maior. Estivemos na Conferência SIIE-CIED 2017 em Lisboa para falar sobre Arte, Tecnologia e Desenvolvimento Humano, no Colóquio Literacias na Primeira Infância, em Loures para expôr ideias acerca de práticas artísticas e bases da comunicação humana e no Seminar Arts and Infancy, no Festival GrowOP!, na Dinamarca, para partilhar a nossa experiência na criação artística para a primeira infância.   .

In November we ran the paths, connecting gardens and stars. We took the ZYG constellation to Loulé,: Installation, Performance, Training, Conference, several entrance doors to a space inhabited by Music. We carried on helping to develop "inner gardens” from North to South of Portugal: project GermInArte´s transitive training courses went to Alcobaça, Bragança, Lagoa and Rio Maior. We were at the SIIE-CIED 2017 Conference in Lisbon to talk about Art, Technology and Human Development, at the Colloquium Literacies for Infancy, in Loures, delivering our ideas on how artistic expression roots human communication, and at the Seminar Arts and Infancy held at the Festival GrowOP! in Denmark, to share our experience on artistic creation for early childhood.

Fecho os olhos e penso, em auto-retrato metafórico, naquelas sardaniscas verdes que continuam a rabiar mesmo depois de mortas, como diz um inspirado(r) texto de Álvaro Magalhães. O meu horizonte mais desejado: não perder a inquietação e sobretudo o silêncio e o tempo como mais precioso sal da vida. Brincar e contagiar, mas também (deixar-me) seduzir pelas entrelinhas das palavras e das imagens… Reinventar-me na e pela criatividade. E teimar em acreditar que há homens, que ainda não vi, com quem aprenderei a ver aquilo que dentro de mim existe e não sabia. E regressar, regressar sempre ao grande vento límpido do mar. My most desired horizon: to not lose the restlessness and above all the silence and time as the most precious salt of life. To play and influence, but also to allow my self to be seduced by the lines between words and images ... To reinvent myself in and by creativity. And stubbornly to believe that there are men, whom I have not yet seen, with whom I will learn to see what exists within me and did not know. O projeto GermInArte - TransFormação Artística para o Desenvolvimento Social e Humano a partir da Infância prossegue a sua missão no âmbito da formação e anuncia a abertura de candidaturas para a edição de Primavera de 2018 das Formações Transitivas. Podem-se candidatar entidades de todo o País interessadas em receber as ações de formação que se baseiam na publicação “Manual para a Construção de Jardins Interiores” (edição da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian) que abordam várias perspectivas estéticas e educativas para a infância e visam proporcionar vivências musicais que possam enriquecer a interação com bebés e crianças. As candidaturas estão abertas aqui.

A new edition of the Transitive Training actions developed within the framework of GermInArte will be developed during the Spring of 2018. Institutions operating in Portugal can apply to receive these initiatives within their working facilities.
