Em 2018 continuaremos a trabalhar na afinação de pessoas, pássaros e flores. Procuraremos todos os pássaros, os reais e os imaginários, os das histórias, da poesia, da música.

Throughout 2018 we will continue working on “tuning people, birds and flowers”. We will search for all the birds, the real and the imaginary, the ones that live in stories, poetry and music.

Em Fevereiro a Constelação NOAH continuará a crescer: depois do espectáculo e da instalação, estreados em 2017, faremos workshops LE-Projecto NOAH em duas escolas de música do distrito de Aveiro. Em NOAH, a história dum dilúvio que extinguiu a vida na Terra, a mesma da Arca de Noé, é “transposta” para o presente: um mundo em desmoronamento devido à ação do Homem. O workshop LE-Projecto NOAH pretende, assim, conjugar, de forma lúdica, aspectos puramente musicais e o caráter de manifesto e apelo à consciência colectiva que orientou a criação da peça estreada recentemente. No Museu de Etnomúsica da Bairrada ouvir-se-á o Pianoscópio a “respirar” e “cantar” com as baleias e icebergs.

In February the NOAH Constellation will carry on growing: after the show and the installation, premiered in 2017, we will hold LE-NOAH Project workshops at two music schools in the district of Aveiro. In NOAH, the story of a deluge that extinguished life on Earth, the same as that of Noah's Ark, is "transposed" into the present: a world in collapse due to the action of Man. NOAH´s trailer is available here. The LE-NOAH Project therefore seeks to combine purely musical aspects and the character of a manifesto and appeal to the collective conscience that guided the creation of the recently created performing piece. In the Museum of Ethnomusic of Bairrada the Pianoscope will be heard to "breathe" and "sing" with the whales and icebergs.

Em Janeiro falámos sobre o envolvimento dos bebés em performances artísticas para a infância no Congresso Transdisciplinar Portugal/Brasil sobre o Bebé, em Évora. Na conferência Research Hands on PIANO, em Aveiro, apresentámos “Looking at music, science and education through the Pianoscope”. Começámos a trabalhar na nova constelação: ensaiámos alguns passos que nos levarão ao primeiro voo, na Primavera.

In January we talked about the involvement of babies in artistic performances for children at the Congresso Transdisciplinar Portugal/Brasil sobre o Bebé, in Évora. At the conference Research Hands on PIANO, in Aveiro, we presented "Looking at music, science and education through the Pianoscope". We started working on the new constellation: we rehearsed some steps that will lead us to the first flight in the spring.
