No final de Agosto estaremos de novo em residência artística no Teatro Aveirense. NOAH voltará ao ninho e ganhará asas.

In the end of August we will be back to Teatro Aveirense for an artistic residence. NOAH will be back to its nest and it will grow wings.

Julho, mês de frutos, foi também tempo de Germinar em GermInArte na Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Trabalhámos em Orizuro, a nova constelação  artístico-educativa da CMT e na Afinação do Olhar. Estivemos no Animusic 2018, um encontro científico internacional para o estudo do som e dos instrumentos musicais, em Torres Novas e no Seminário do Early Childhood Music Education da ISME em Israel.

July, month of fruits, was also time to Germinate in GermInArte at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. We worked on Orizuro, the new CMT educative-artistic constellation and on Afinação do Olhar. We participated in Animusic 2018, an international scientific meeting for the study of sound and musical instruments, in Torres Novas and in ISME´s Early Childhood Music Education Seminar in Israel.

Ao longo de vários anos temos vindo a recolher e a analisar dados que nos dão uma perspectiva única e um contributo importante para o aprofundamento da discussão em torno das capacidades musicais e da “apreciação estética” dos seres humanos desde o nascimento. Com Afinação do Olhar pretendemos fazer a ponte entre arte e ciência, estudando e divulgando aspectos do comportamento dos bebés, artistas e cuidadores em contextos de “performance” artística.

Over the years we have been collecting and analyzing data that give us a unique perspective and an important contribution to the deepening of the discussion about musical abilities and the "aesthetic appreciation" of human beings from birth. With Afinação do Olhar (Sight Tuning) we aim to bridge the gap between art and science by studying and disseminating aspects of the behavior of babies, artists and caregivers in contexts of artistic "performance".
