Iniciaremos o mês de Setembro com um Murmuratorium em S. Miguel, Açores, numa parceria com a Musiquim. Murmuratorium é simultaneamente uma “performance” músico-teatral participativa e uma instalação que pode ser explorada num registo livre e informal. O Murmuratorium de S.Miguel dará voz à “delicadeza", à “escuta” e "revelação do belo”, à necessidade de “estar junto” de forma poética e sensível.

We will start the month of September with a Murmuratorium at S. Miguel, Azores, in a partnership with Musiquim. Murmuratorium is both a participatory music theatre performance and an installation that can be explored in a free and informal register. The patio of the Igreja da Misericórdia in Aveiro will give voice to "delicacy", to "listening" and "revelation of the beautiful", to the need to "be together" in a poetic and sensitive way.

Julho foi mês de ideias maduras e de frutos novos. A Formação Imersiva Jardim Interior teve lugar em Loulé. O Gamelão de Porcelana e Cristal ressoou nos claustros da Sé de Viseu, integrando o festival MESCLA. O jardim de Opus 7 floriu em Oeiras. O Pianoscópio esteve na Quinta dos Olhos d’Água em Marvão, integrando a programação da Marvão Internacional Academy for Music Arts and Science. Em Aveiro, no Festival dos Canais, estreou a nova criação da CMT, Murmuratorium.

July was a month of mature ideas and new fruits. The Immersive Training Jardim Interior took place in Loulé. The Gamelão de Porcelana e Cristal resounded in the cloisters of Viseu´s Cathedral. The garden of Opus 7 bloomed in Oeiras. The Pianoscópio was at the Quinta dos Olhos d'Água in Marvão, as part of the programme of the Marvão International Academy for Music Arts and Science. CMT´s new creation Murmuratorium was premiered at Festival dos Canais in Aveiro.

O documentário Voar da Ponta dos Dedos de Luís Margalhau ganhou o prémio da Competição Avanca Longa Metragem do 23rd Avanca Film Festival. Voar da Ponta dos Dedos documenta experiências de formação imersiva no domínio da arte para a infância criadas no âmbito do Projeto GermInArte. Enfatizando a importância da voz, do movimento e da improvisação no desenvolvimento pessoal dos profissionais que trabalham com crianças, essas experiências formativas culminam em performances finais apresentadas a bebés e crianças. O documentário dá voz aos formandos, que relatam que, mais do que um processo formativo, viveram uma experiência fortemente transformadora em termos humanos. Voar da Ponta dos Dedos revela como é que uma filosofia educativa partilhada relativamente à arte para a infância, na vanguarda do trabalho que se tem vindo a realizar no âmbito da música e do desenvolvimento social e humano, pode ajudar a construir um mundo melhor.

Luís Margalhau´s documentary Flying From the Fingertips won the Competição Avanca Feature Film prize of the 23rd Avanca Film Festival. Flying From the Fingertips documents immersive training initiatives on arts for childhood that were created in GermInArte project. Stressing the importance of voice, movement and improvisation in the personal development of professionals working with children, these immersive experiences culminate in performances dedicated to infants and toddlers. The documentary gives voice to the trainees who participated in these creative processes and who reported that more than a formative process, they have lived a strong transformative experience. At the forefront of work on music for social and human development, Flying From the Fingertips illustrates how a shared educational philosophy on arts for childhood can help to create a better world.
