Faça de conta que é e celebre-o connosco. Procure um jardim. Escute os sons à sua volta. Aguarde. Deixe que o jardim lhe ensine a cantar.

Tomorrow, the 1st of October, we celebrate World Day of Music in Portugal. If October the 1st is not Music´s Day in your country, pretend that it is and celebrate with us. Look for a garden. Listen to the sounds around you. Wait. Let the garden teach you to sing.

Outubro é o mês da música, dos frutos e dos pássaros que crescem nas árvores. Na galeria Nova Ogiva, a exposição Inventário dos Frutos #2 integrará o FOLIO (Festival Internacional de Literatura de Óbidos), mostrando  alguns dos objectos cénicos-sonoros icónicos do universo criativo da CMT. Um convite a uma escuta com o corpo todo, a leituras criativas fundadas na pluralidade dos sentidos e à “afinação de pessoas, pássaros e flores”. No Teatro Alba, integrando o Mi – Festival de Música e Criatividade Infantil de Albergaria-a-Velha, apresentaremos a Conferência dos Pássaros e a instalação Inúmera Mão. Opus 8 semeará pássaros na Casa das Artes e escolas de Vila Nova de Famalicão. ZYG será parte da exposição fotográfica “25 anos & 25 projetos” sobre as EAA Grants que está patente na estação de metro da Alameda em Lisboa.

October is the month of music, fruits and birds that grow in trees. At the Nova Ogiva gallery, the exhibition Inventário dos Frutos #2 will be part of the FOLIO (International Literature Festival of Óbidos), showing some of the iconic sound-scenic objects CMT´s creative universe. An invitation to listen to with the whole body, to creative readings based on the plurality of the senses and to the “tuning of people, birds and flowers”. At Teatro Alba, as part of the Mi - Festival of Children's Music and Creativity of Albergaria-a-Velha, we will present Conferência dos Pássaros and the installation Inúmera Mão. Opus 8 will sow birds at Casa das Artes and schools of Vila Nova de Famalicão. ZYG will be part of the photo exhibition “25 anos & 25 projetos” about the EAA Grants, to be shown at the Alameda underground station in Lisboa.

Iniciámos o mês de Setembro com um Murmuratorium em S. Miguel, Açores, numa parceria com a Musiquim. Murmuratorium é simultaneamente uma “performance” músico-teatral participativa e uma instalação que pode ser explorada num registo livre e informal. O Murmuratorium de S. Miguel deu voz à “delicadeza", à “escuta” e "revelação do belo”, à necessidade de “estar junto” de forma poética e sensível. Os jardins sonoros  de Opus 7 floriram em escolas de Odivelas. Participámos na residência Cultura é Educação, na Fábrica das Artes, CCB, Lisboa, na Conferência Internacional do CIPEM no Porto, na VII Semana de Educação Musical na UNESP em São Paulo, Brasil. e na Conferência da RESEO em Bruxelas.

We started the month of September with a Murmuratorium at S. Miguel, Azores,  in a partnership with Musiquim. Murmuratorium is both a participatory music theatre performance and an installation that can be explored in a free and informal register. The Murmuratorium at S. Miguel gave voice to "delicacy", to “listening to" and "revelation of the beautiful", to the need to "be together" in a poetic and sensitive way. Opus 7 sound gardens bloomed in schools of Odivelas. We participated in the residence Cultura é Educação, held at Fábrica das Artes, CCB, Lisbon, in the CIPEM International Conference do CIPEM in Oporto in the VII Semana de Educação Musical na UNESP em São, Brasil and in the RESEO Conference in Brussels.

Da delicadeza de uma flor, à robustez de uma árvore. Do pássaro que, no meio da bruma, canta de manhã até ao final do dia, à baleia que nos leva ao mergulho. Percursos sonoros de ilhéus que nos movem. Escutar o mundo e ver a vida acontecer. Murmúrios de um planeta que precisa de nós. Que seja com arte.
