Amanhã, dia 1 de Outubro, celebra-se em Portugal o Dia Mundial da Música. É possível que nos esteja a ler num país onde o dia 1 de Outubro não é o Dia Mundial da Música. Faça de conta que é e celebre-o connosco. Procure uma fonte, um rio, o mar. Escute as múltiplas vozes da água. Com cuidado: uma escuta atenta pode acordar a imaginação. Daí à música é um instante.

Tomorrow, the 1st of October, Portugal will celebrate World Music Day. It is possible that you are reading us in a country where the 1st of October is not World Music Day. Pretend you are and celebrate it with us: look for a fountain, a river, the sea. Listen to the multiple voices of the water. Carefully: mindful listening can trigger imagination. From there to music is an instant.

Em Outubro estaremos no Convento dos Remédios, em Évora, com uma versão da mais recente criação da CMT, Aguário (ver Echoes) pensada para os mais pequeninos, a formação Afinação do Olhar e também o PaPI- Opus 7. A Estufa Fria, em Lisboa, acolherá uma edição muito especial da instalação Mil Pássaros, na sequência do percurso iniciado na Lisboa Capital Verde Europeia. Após ter sido uma "luz de presença" num ano marcado pela pandemia a instalação ressurge agora transfigurada pelo diálogo com o espaço e magníficos biontes que o habitam. O novo eco-sistema-bio-poético é também um manifesto à "enorme vontade de ter esperança nestes tempos tão incertos". Voltaremos à Casa das Artes em Famalicão para o lançamento do livro O Céu Por Cima de Cá, acompanhado pela projeção do registo vídeo do espetáculo. Será um evento integrado no Close-up- Observatório de Cinema de Famalicão que acolherá também o documentário Murmuratorium Rumos e Rumores de Luis Margalhau. Estaremos em Larvik na Noruega para participar na cerimónia de atribuição dos YAMAwards (ver Highlight) e na Fábrica Centro Ciência Viva de Aveiro com a Missão Mar Profundo #2, uma das ações previstas no projeto Deep Listening, Deep Sea(ing), financiado pelos EEA Grants. O PaPI- Opus 7 continuará o "périplo das águas" (ver Echoes). Ainda em Outubro abrirão as inscrições para o XI Encontro Internacional Arte Para a Infância de Desenvolvimento Social e Humano, que terá lugar em Novembro simultaneamente em Lisboa e Loulé.

In October we will be at Convento dos Remédios, in Évora, presenting a version of CMT's most recent creation, Aguário (see Echoes) designed for the little ones, as well as the training Afinação do Olhar and PaPI- Opus 7. A very special edition of the installation Mil Pássaros will be shown at Estufa Fria, Lisbon, following the path started in Lisbon, European Green Capital. After having been a "night light" in a year marked by the pandemic, the installation reappears now transfigured by the dialogue with space and the magnificent bionts that inhabit it. The new bio-poetic-ecosystem is also a manifesto to the "huge desire of hope in these uncertain times". We will return to Casa das Artes in Famalicão for the launch of the book O Céu Por Cima de Cá, which will be accompanied by the projection of the video recording of the show. It will be an event integrated in the Close-up - Observatório de Cinema de Famalicão, which will also host the documentary Murmuratorium Rumos e Rumores by Luis Margalhau. We will be in Larvik, Norway to participate in the YAMAwards awarding ceremony (see Highlight) and in Fábrica Centro Ciência Viva de Aveiro with Missão Mar Profundo #2, one of the actions foreseen in the Deep Listening, Deep Sea(ing) project, supported by EEA Grants. Still in October, registration will open for the XI International Colloquium Arts for Childhood and Social and Human Development, which will take place in November simultaneously in Lisbon and Loulé.

O PaPI- Opus 7 iniciou um "périplo pela água" que fará florir os seus jardins sonoros em cerca de 20 estâncias termais em locais dum Portugal profundo. No início de Setembro estivemos em Unhais da Serra e S. Pedro do Sul. A nova criação da CMT estreou no final de Setembro na Casa das Artes, V. N. Famalicão: Aguário é um conjunto de "poemas performativos" onde as múltiplas vozes da água se misturam com a voz humana, o corpo e o movimento, a imagem e os objectos cénicos. O percurso criativo começou no i.Lab Mil Pássaros em Loulé, levou-nos até ZYG#2 no Convento de S. Francisco em Coimbra, uma pesquisa artística sobre formas de abordar a água como matéria artística que se pode moldar como traço, gesto, som, fluindo no tempo e no espaço. Ligando tudo e todos, é essa a natureza da água. Aguário é uma co-produção da CMT e da Casa das Artes de V. N. Famalicão, com quem a Cidade Orizuro assim se vai construindo.

PaPI- Opus 7 started a "water tour" that will make its sonorous gardens bloom in around 20 thermal spas in places of deep Portugal. At the beginning of September we were in Unhais da Serra and S. Pedro do Sul. CMT´s new creation premiered at the end of September at Casa das Artes, V. N. Famalicão: Aguário is a series of "performative poems" where the multiple voices of water mingle with the human voice, the body and movement, the image and scenic objects. The creative journey began at i.Lab Mil Pássaros in Loulé, took us to ZYG#2 at the Convento de S. Francisco in Coimbra, an artistic research about approaching water as an artistic material that can be molded as a line, gesture, sound, flowing in time and space. Connecting everything and everyone, this is the nature of water. Aguário is a co-production by CMT and Casa das Artes by V. N. Famalicão, with whom Cidade Orizuro is being built.

Mil pássaros cruzaram o Atlântico. Chegaram à terra do Passaredo e logo se encontraram, se abraçaram, chilrearam, pipilaram, alçaram voos conjuntos, de cá pra lá, de lá pra cá. Rouxinol, muito sensível, cantou para Ararinhas, Corvídeos e Sabiás. E a passarada brasileira, sem demora, respondeu: "Bom dia, amigos, bom dia! Sai a noite, chega o sol; Em terra de passarinho, Cantador é o Rouxinol!" A thousand birds crossed the Atlantic. They arrived in the land of Passaredo and soon met, hugged, chirped, took off together, back and forth. The Nightingale, very sensitive, sang to the little Macaws, Corvids and Thrushes. And the Brazilian bird, without delay, replied: "Good morning, friends, good morning!
