Em Fevereiro estreia PaPI-Opus 9, uma viagem pelo mundo da água construída a partir da peça-mãe Aguário. PaPI-Opus 9 é uma experiência para bebés e crianças pequenas num formato de grande intimidade que estimula a escuta atenta e a interação. A água, o elemento fundamental do cenário, é abordada como matéria artística e lúdica que se pode moldar como traço, gesto, som, fluindo no tempo e no espaço. A sonoridade da manipulação dos elementos cénicos cruza-se com paisagens sonoras imaginárias construídas com sons gravados; os pingos da chuva, ondas do mar, fontes e rios, baleias e icebergs fazem parte duma linguagem universal de que a voz e o movimento também fazem parte. Conversas em "agualim", um dos dialetos da música cujo dicionário está por fazer e ainda bem. PaPI-Opus 9 será "acompanhado" de um outro PaPI, Opus 8, ambos no Teatro Sá da Bandeira, Santarém. O Jardim Orizuro continuará a ser desenvolvido em três instituições do Município de V. N. Famalicão: Jardim de Infância de Seide, Centro Social da Paróquia de Castelões, Centro Social Paroquial de Requião.

PaPI-Opus 9 will be premiered in February. A journey through the world of water, departing from its parent-piece Aguário, PaPI-Opus 9 is an experience for babies and young children in an intimate format that encourages attentive listening and interaction. Water, the fundamental element of the scenario, is approached as an artistic and playful material that can be shaped as a trace, gesture, sound, flowing in time and space. The sound of the manipulation of scenic elements intersects with imaginary soundscapes built with recorded sounds; raindrops, ocean waves, fountains and rivers, whales and icebergs are elements of a universal language of which voice and movement are also part. Conversations in "agualim", one of the dialects of music whose dictionary is yet to be created, thankfully. PaPI-Opus 9 will be "accompanied" by another  PaPI, Opus 8, both at Teatro Sá da Bandeira, Santarém. Jardim Orizuro will carry on being developed in three institutions of the municipality of V. N. Famalicão: Jardim de Infância de Seide, Centro Social da Paróquia de Castelões, Centro Social Paroquial de Requião.

Janeiro começou com o Inventário dos Frutos #3 e PaPI-Opus 7 na Livraria Barata, em Lisboa. Inventário dos Frutos é uma incursão pelo universo criativo e sensorial da CMT, uma exposição que reúne uma seleção de objetos cénico-sonoros, criados no contexto de vários projetos artísticos e educativos, como Babelim, Jardim Interior, Dabo Domo, NOAH, Murmuratorium ou Mil Pássaros. A viagem livre pelo universo-CMT pôde ser acompanhada por uma "visita guiada" ao jardim sonívoro de PaPI-Opus 7, uma das nossas peças de música-teatral para bebés e crianças pequenas que continua a desafiar a passagem do tempo. Ainda em Janeiro iniciou-se o projeto Jardim Orizuro no município de V. N. Famalicão, com o apoio do Programa Garantir Cultura, e teve lugar na Bélgica o primeiro encontro do SenseSquared, o projeto Erasmus+ em que a CMT é parceira de artistas e instituições da Bélgica, Dinamarca, Holanda e Noruega (ver Highlight).

January started with Inventário dos Frutos #3 and PaPI-Opus 7 at Livraria Barata, in Lisbon. Inventário dos Frutos is an incursion into the creative and sensorial universe of CMT, an exhibition that brings together a selection of scenic-sound objects, created in the context of various artistic and educational projects, such as Babelim, Jardim Interior, Dabo Domo, NOAH, Murmuratorium or Mil Pássaros. The free journey through the universe-CMT could be accompanied by a "guided visit" to the somnivorous garden of PaPI-Opus 7, one of our theatrical music pieces for babies and small children that continues to defy the passage of time. Also in January, the Jardim Orizuro project started in the municipality of V. N. Famalicão, with the support of the Programa Garantir Cultura. In Belgium we participated in the first meeting of SenseSquared, the Erasmus+ project in which CMT is a partner of artists and institutions from Belgian, Denmark, Netherlands and Norway (see Highlight).

Becoming through the senses: towards artistic ways of being in the world, um projeto Erasmus+ liderado pela Musica (BE) e que tem como parceiros Marres (NL), Sisters Hope (DK), Universitet i Stavanger (NO) and Universiteit Masstricht (NL) e Companhia de Música Teatral (PT). É um projeto KA2 (Ensino Escolar, Parcerias Estratégicas) financiado pela União Europeia e procura investigar formas sensoriais e artísticas que possam contribuir para uma educação para um Mundo mais conectado e sustentável. Tem a duração de 36 meses e teve início no ambiente inspirador da Musica Impulse Centre em Neerpelt.

Becoming through the senses: towards artistic ways of being in the world, an Erasmus+ project led by Musica (BE) having as partners Marres (NL), Sisters Hope (DK), Universitet i Stavanger (NO) and Universiteit Masstricht (NL) and Companhia de Música Teatral (PT). The project is part of the Erasmus +, Cooperation Partnerships in School Education, KA2 initiative funded by the European Union and aims to investigate how a sensuous approach and artistic attitude can contribute to an education that leads to a more connected and sustainable world. It has a duration of 36 months and it has just started, in Musica Impulse Centre's inspiring surroundings, in Neerpelt.
