Faça de conta que é e celebre-o connosco: procure uma árvore, um jardim, uma floresta. Deixe-se embalar pelas canções da Terra. E pelo rasto da nossa A Canção da Terra acabada de estrear na Casa das Artes em Vila Nova de Famalicão..

Tomorrow, the 1st of October, Portugal will celebrate World Music Day. It is possible that you are reading us in a country where the 1st of October is not World Music Day. Pretend you are and celebrate it with us: look for a tree, a garden, a forest. Let yourself be lulled by the songs of the Earth. And by the after-image of our The Song of the Earth (A Canção da Terra), just premiered at Casa das Artes de Vila Nova de Famalicão.

Em Outubro estaremos no Convento dos Remédios, em Évora, com o espetáculo Dooo Ba Wooo e a formação Afinação do Olhar. Dooo Ba Wooo é feito de memórias de caracóis, tartarugas, girassóis, baleias, pássaros e muitas outras músicas, saídas do baú da CMT. Ao longo de mais de 20 anos, a CMT tem vindo a desenvolver projectos artísticos para bebés que contribuíram de forma definitiva para a consciência de que as experiências musicais nas idades mais precoces podem contribuir para o desenvolvimento intelectual e afetivo do ser humano. Bebé Babá, Andakibebé, Bebé Plim Plim, Babelim, Bichofonia e vários PaPIs deram origem a canções, cantos rítmicos, pequenas histórias, adivinhas, movimentos, que fizeram parte de livros, CDs e espectáculos. Em Dooo Ba Wooo faz-se uma viagem com pais e bebés através dessas memórias, ao sabor do improviso e do brincar. PaPI - Opus 9 continua a sua viagem de co-produção com a Casa as Artes e no final do mês navega até à Moagem no Fundão. Os Mil Pássaros no Bairro Padre Cruz continuam o seu voo e com um novo fôlego até ao final do ano. In October we will be at the Convento dos Remédios, in Évora, with Dooo Ba Wooo and the training session Afinação do Olhar on music for early childhood. Dooo Ba Wooo is created from memories of snails, turtles, sunflowers, whales, birds and many other songs, straight out of the CMT trunk. For more than 20 years, CMT has been developing artistic projects for babies that have definitely contributed to the awareness that musical experiences at the earliest ages can contribute to the intellectual and affective development of human beings. Bebé Babá, Andakibebé, Bebé Plim Plim, Babelim, Bichofonia and several PaPIs gave rise to songs, rhythmic chants, small stories, riddles, movements, which were part of books, CDs and shows. In Dooo Ba Wooo, parents and babies travel through these memories, with improvisation and play. PaPI - Opus 9 will continue its journey through the waters of Famalicão and Fundão. One Thousand Birds will continue their flight in the Padre Cruz community with a new breath until the end of the year. No final de Agosto e início de Setembro fizemos a Missão Mar Profundo #3 (projeto Deep Listening Deep Sea(ing) financiado pelos EEA Grants,) na Fábrica da Ciência em Aveiro integrada no "Campus Juvenil Climantica/Fábrica" com participantes da Polónia, Portugal, Espanha, Roménia, Panamá, Chile, Brasil, México e Argentina. O Mar Profundo levou-nos também às BlueNIGHTs, em Torreira (Murtosa), onde partilhamos aspectos da nossa “viagem” com alunos do ensino básico de Estarreja e cientistas. Estreámos A Canção da Terra na Casa das Artes, em V. N. Famalicão. A nova criação da CMT é uma co-produção com a Casa das Artes, o Cine-Teatro Alba (Albergaria-a-Velha) e o Município de Lagoa. Estivemos na conferência MusiChildren em Aveiro, com a palestra DMSE#20: A children’s guided journey through CMT´s artistic-educative constellations e o documentário Murmuratorium, rumos e rumores de Luis Margalhau. Também estivemos em Paris na conferência da RESEO, Still Committed! From Challenges to Opportunities, onde participámos na sessão "Culture and Climate Change". O Gamelão de Porcelana e Cristal teve o privilégio de soar no Museu dos Biscainhos juunto dos magníficos Tulipeiros da Virgínia durante a sua passagem pela Noite Branca de Braga. PaPI - Opus 9 esteve em Paredes de Coura e iniciou a viagem de co-produção com a Casa das Artes de Famalicão.

At the end of August and beginning of September we did Missão Mar Profundo #3 (projecto Deep Listening Deep Sea(ing)) at Fábrica da Ciência in Aveiro, integrated in "Campus Juvenil Climantica /Fábrica" with participants from Poland Portugal, Spain, Romenia, Panama, Chile, Brasil, Mexico and Argentina The Deep Sea led us to BlueNIGHTs, at Torreira (Murtosa), where we shared aspects of our “journey” with children from primary schools of Estarreja and scientists. In September we premiered A Canção da Terra at Casa das Artes, in V. N. Famalicão. CMT's new creation is a co-production with Casa das Artes, Cine-Teatro Alba (Albergaria-a-Velha) and Municipality of Lagoa. At the end of September we were at the MusiChilldren conference in Aveiro with the lecture DMSE#20: A children’s guided journey through CMT´s artistic-educative constellations and the documentary Murmuratorium, roads and rumores by Luis Margalhau. We were also in Paris at the RESEO conference, Still Committed! From Challenges to Opportunities, where we participated in the session "Culture and Climate Change". The sounds of Gamelão de Porcelana e Cristal were heard in Museu dos Biscainhos by its impressive Tulip Trees. PaPI - Opus 9 went to Paredes de Coura and started its co-production journey with Casa das Artes de Famalicão.

Pela fenda entraram milhares de luzes. Tudo partiu dum centro inspirado que se alastrou pela passagem dos seres - quanto de mim, do que sou, do que sonho, do que faço, são ecos dos outros?- pela poesia - ora de livros, ora de acasos- pela sensibilidade empática que em muito descontrolou planos, trocou-os por panos que sobem e descem levando a vida à cena! Thousands of lights entered through the crack. Everything started from an inspired center that spread through the passage of beings - how much of me, what I am, what I dream, what I do, are echoes of others? - through poetry - sometimes from books, sometimes from chance- by the empathic sensitivity that in many ways, has lost control of plans, has exchanged them for clothes that go up and down, bringing life to the scene! A CMT é um dos parceiros do projeto Ur-GENTE, com a ONGD VIDA (PT), a ALAIM (Cabo Verde) e o GTO (Guiné-Bissau). Integrado na Ação PROCULTURA financiada pela União Europeia no âmbito do Programa Indicativo Multianual PALOP-TL UE para 2014-20, cofinanciado e gerido pelo Camões, I.P. e cofinanciado pela Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian este projeto visa a criação do Ur-GENTE: Centro de Artes Cénicas Transdisciplinar de Bissau e pretende contribuir para aumentar o grau de profissionalização através da implementação de uma ação integrada e sustentada no domínio das artes e da cultura na Guiné-Bissau, com atividades previstas até Junho de 2024.

CMT is one of the partners of the Ur-GENTE project, with the NGDO VIDA (PT), ALAIM (Cape Verde) and the GTO (Guinea-Bissau). As part of the PROCULTURA Action funded by the European Union under the PALOP-TL EU Multiannual Indicative Program for 2014-20, co-financed and managed by Camões, I.P. and co-financed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, this project aims to create Ur-GENTE: Centro de Artes Transdisciplinar de Bissau and aims to contribute to increasing the degree of professionalization through the implementation of an integrated and sustained action in the field of arts and culture in Guinea -Bissau, with activities scheduled until June 2024.
