Over the course of 25 years, CMT has created and presented a wide range of artistic experiences for diverse audiences and very different contexts. CMT’s ‘trunk’ is a collection of memories of sounds, images, people, stories and encounters that are still alive and looking to acquire new forms and meanings. Early childhood experiences have a very special place in this journey and some projects, such as Bebé Babá, Andakibebé, Bebé Plim Plim, Babelim, Bichofonia, Opus Tutti or the various PaPIs, have allowed us to create our own discourse and an impulse that has inspired other artists, educators, programmers and cultural agents, contributing to the awareness that artistic experiences at the earliest ages are essential for the intellectual and affective development of human beings. Most interesting, however, is to see that we continue to be surprised and look for new ways to connect with those who listen and watch us: CMT’s most recent works (such as Ornitópera or A Liberdadade a Passar Por Aqui) show us that there is much more to discover. As the CD edition DBW25 has also shown us.

Dooo Ba Wooo is a journey through these memories, designed for the little ones but also for the adults they usually invite when they come to our shows. Dooo Ba Wooo, which will be presented in Fundão, emanates from these ideas but has some particularities: it will be presented in an iconic venue in the city, the Sala da Concha at the Casino Fundanense, it will be recorded live so that it can later become an ‘artistic object’ that complements the DBW constellation, it takes place within the framework of a relationship with Fundão that has been long and fertile, but which, in recent years, with the projects Com Palavras Amo and Mil Pássaros no Fundão, has acquired contours of great closeness.

Performances of Dooo Ba Wooo will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 21 and 22 June 2025, at 10.30am (0-3 years) and 4pm (3 years and over). Bookings can be made at Moagem ((email: [email protected]; Tel: 275 773032)
