Dedicated to Colwyn Trevarthen, the book “Flowering South — Caring for Children” will be presented at the Auditório do Solar da Música Nova in Loulé on August 3rd as the result of a joint dream and a harmony of thought and action between the Companhia de Música Teatral and the Cineteatro Louletano.
Defending the importance of the arts in the lives of the little ones, this publication offers a general overview of CMT’s ideas and initiatives in the field of adult training and addresses in greater detail the immersive training workshops promoted by Cineteatro Louletano over the last six years, giving voice to the respective participants and actors.
Professor Colwyn Trevarthen was a great enthusiast of CMT’s work and a great source of inspiration. “Florir a Sul – Para cuidar de todas as infâncias”, completed at the time of his death, sows the seeds for his ideas to reach other audiences, sharing emotions, concerns, reflections and amazement.
