Ornitópera is a music-theater performance designed for the little ones and also for the adults they usually bring with them. Or is it the other way around?
One day all the birds of the world gathered in a large assembly to deal with the serious problems that everyone was struggling with. It is not known why humans were not invited, perhaps because they were the cause of most of them. And the story goes on and on, with many twists and turns and an unexpected ending. In the beginning there are no words, in the middle neither, and much less the end. How do you tell a story about birds, a very old one, that is also a poem or perhaps a metaphor for what is most profound about what it is to be human? Maybe with Music. The language of birds.
The debut journey of Ornitópera flew by Casa das Artes de V. Famalicão, Cine-Teatro Narciso Ferreira and Teatro Aveirense.
