BEBÉ.CUCU is an interactive installation based on images taken by mini-video cameras placed on children who have just learned to walk: in the park, at nursery, at home, playing with their parents or with other babies. This material was used to create an audiovisual space that responds to the presence of visitors. It explores the idea of worlds within worlds and, above all, is an evocative emotional experience, recalling primordial memories and feelings. It was a co-production by DeCA, CMT and Artshare in collaboration with DET/UA.

The Tribunal da Ralação interactive installation was based on the idea of providing a playground/creative space where ordinary citizens can present “cases”, make “judgements” and deliver “sentences”. It is a space for expressing opinions, venting, denouncing, but also for praising. It a place of free speech, a kind of technologically mediated “speakers’ corner” with a playful and artistic atmosphere. The visible (audible) face of Tribunal da Ralação is a set of 10 “Tribunes”, each with a hammer of São João that, when beaten, emits “sentences”, previously recorded phrases that have been saved on a computer. The interactive process evokes the symbolic gesture of a court judgement, as well as ritual actions from folk festivals. It was a co-production by DeCA, CMT and Artshare in collaboration with DET/UA.
