The “experience of art” in the first years of life has profound repercussions on the future development and “attunement to the present” of those who interact with babies and young children. The challenges faced by creators, performers and educators who work with little ones are exciting and have received very particular attention from the Companhia de Música Teatral (CMT). Over the course of 25 years, CMT has created artistic experiences for early childhood with very unique characteristics, exploring different formats, broadening the perspectives of audiences, artists and educators, creating spaces for enjoyment, sharing, communication, research and training.
The first edition of Inventário dos Frutos took place at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, at the end of the Opus Tutti project, and was intended to be a sharing of some of the results of the direct work of previous years. The reverberations of the first edition continued to be felt and, over the last few years, Inventário dos Frutos has evolved and taken different forms, dialoguing with the space that hosts it.
Inventário dos Frutos #5 was presented at Cine-Teatro Alba, proposing a journey that crosses different artistic-educational constellations of the CMT creative universe and inviting full-body listening, creative readings based on the plurality of senses and to the “tuning of people, birds and flowers”
