With the arrival of spring, the first flowers begin to bloom. Pansies, gerberas, begonias and carnations – all serving as a reminder that freedom is still passing through here.

In March

In the month of spring, Liberdade visited Cineteatro de Estarreja, bringing flowers that sing like birds. Red carnations, the kind that announce freedom. At the end of the month, to celebrate the arrival of the season, we flew to Fernando Rosado's concert hall for another Feliz Encontro — a journey with no destination and many voices. PaPI Opus 12 accompanied this Feliz Encontro like a flower that listens and is about to reveal itself to the sun.

Highlight

i.Lab #2026 – Arts for Childhood – Immersive Training

From 27 July to 1 August, we will return to Loulé for another edition of i.Lab – Arts for Childhood – Immersive Training. Over the course of a week, trainees, trainers and CMT artists will have the opportunity to take part in a collaborative creative process culminating in the final presentation of an artistic experience for families with babies. Experiencing musical practice (voice and movement), raising awareness of the importance of play, promoting the autonomy of each trainee and deepening free improvisation practices at a vocal and instrumental level will be central themes of the 2026 edition. Registration closes on 5 May.
