Missão Mar Profundo #5 took place in Torreira on 30 September 2023. It was a natural and long-awaited development, following the success of the previous year. It was part of the European Researchers’ Night: Blue Nights Torreira I Mar e Ciência and allowed us to present a new version of the performance of ““Cartografia Sonora Imaginária” for students aged 3 to 18, from the Escola Básica Integrada da Torreira. Deep listening and attentiveness, curiosity and amazement. Another stage in an increasingly fertile relationship with the deep sea scientists with whom we have been collaborating throughout the Deep Listening Deep Sea(ing) project and with whom we share the concern of “tuning people, birds and flowers”.
