In July, PaPI – Opus 7 bloomed once more, bringing together the children from TRAMA — Grupo de Teatro Infantil — in a very special production staged at the “Há festa na quinta” event at Quinta do Marinheiro in Avanca. From July 13 to 18, M de Manifesto was in artistic residency in Montemor-o-Novo at the Cineteatro Curvo Semedo. The month ended with a trip to Loulé, where i.Lab #2026 once again guided us through exploration of the body, the voice, and improvisation. It is also in Loulé that PaPI – Opus 12 continues to grow, sharing results and drawing inspiration from the participants of i.Lab #2026.

In August and September

M de Manifesto

M de Manifesto is not a show with answers. It is an exercise in active listening, an invitation to reflect, and an attempt to make room for questions about the female condition.

Radar

M de Maria

Radar image

When I was a child, I didn’t like being called Maria Ana. I thought she was someone else. And she was – what I didn’t realise was that she also lived within me and that many years later I would give her a voice. In M de Manifesto, I am Maria, I am a woman, and I am so many other things that also live within me and that I am only now discovering.

XVI EIAIDSH

We’re already counting down to the XVI International Colloquium Arts for Childhood and Social and Human Development, taking place on November 14th at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. In the 2026 edition, we once again highlight the importance of listening, playing, and improvising. Because, as Professor Agostinho da Silva stated, “Man is not born to work; he is born to create, to be that poet set free.” Making room for imagination, for the body in motion, for freedom, and for building a more humane future is our guiding principle.
