2025年9月9日と10日、大阪·関西万博2025のポルトガル館にて、プロジェクト 「Deep Listening Deep Sea(ing)（DLDS）」 を開催します。 本プロジェクトは「深海ミッション1～5」に続く新たな試みであり、芸術·科学·教育·環境意識の交差点を探求するものです。これは、ポルトガル館のテーマ 「海―ブルーダイアログ」（海と深く結びついた国ポルトガルを紹介）に特に関連しています。
DLDSは、これまでのミッションに参加した子ども、青少年、教師、アーティスト、科学者などの多様な声を集め、「深海に声を与える」 ことを目指します。
ポルトガル館のテラスでは、音·映像·アイデアを融合させたパフォーマンス·ドキュメンタリーを上演し、DLDSコンステレーションやイマジナリー·サウンド·カートグラフィーの要素を取り入れます。さらに館外では、音楽と演劇が融合したパフォーマンスにより、深海の声を体感できる機会を提供します。
Deep Listening Deep Sea(ing)（DLDS） プロジェクトは、コンパニア·デ·ムジカ·テアトラル、アヴェイロ大学、ベルゲン大学（ノルウェー）、マルヴァン国際音楽·芸術·科学アカデミー、そしてアヴェイロ「ファブリカ·センチュロ·シエンシア·ヴィヴァ」とのパートナーシップによって実現しました。さらに、CIIMAR（海洋·環境学際研究センター）および大陸棚延長のための任務機構の支援を受け、EEA Grants によって資金提供されました。
本プロジェクトは、DGArtes 国際化支援プログラム、AICEP、オリエント財団 の支援を受けて実施されます。
The project Deep Listening Deep Sea(ing) (DLDS) was presented at the Portuguese Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025. Following on from Missões Mar Profundo 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, this new mission continued to explore the intersection between art, science, education and environmental awareness, now in a particularly relevant context. The Pavilion’s theme, “Ocean, Blue Dialogue,” gives Portugal a prominent place at the World Expo as a nation deeply connected to the sea. Deep Listening Deep Sea(ing) will “give voice” to the Deep Ocean, a topic of extreme environmental relevance, and resonated the “multiple voices” of children, adolescents, young people, teachers, artists, and scientists who have been involved in the various previous missions.
On September 9 and 10, 2025, after sunset, the Terrace of the Portuguese Pavilion at Expo Osaka resonated with ideas, sounds, and images in a documentary-performance that intertwines elements of the constellations DLDS and Cartografia Sonora Imaginária. Throughout the day, outside the Pavilion, a series of short music-theatre performance created an additional way of “giving voice” to the Deep Ocean.
The project Deep Listening Deep Sea(ing) (DLDS), results from a partnerships between Companhia de Música Teatral, University of Aveiro, University of Bergen (NO), Marvão International Academy for Music, Arts and Sciences and Fábrica Centro Ciência Viva de Aveiro, with the support of CIIMAR and Estrutura de Missão para a Extensão da Plataforma Continental and the finance support of EEA Grants.
